HRMS Overview

Personal and team people analytics, workforce directory charts, weekly timesheets, leave management, approval workflows, unified audit trail, attendance matrix, and invoice financial views.

People operations — dashboards, directory, timesheets, leave requests, manager approvals, activity history, attendance, invoices, and employee profiles.

Time, leave, directory, and the dashboards that sit on them

This hub points at personal and team people analytics, the workforce directory, weekly timesheets, leave, attendance, approvals, and the unified audit trail. It is documentation, not a live HR console.

The job of this console

Choose the how-to that matches the menu you are about to use — dashboard, employees, timesheet, leave, or attendance — instead of mixing employee and admin procedures on one page.

Seat at the table

Anyone implementing or learning People screens. Day-to-day work happens in the app; this index only routes reading.

The working rhythm

Pick a screen below, read its briefing, then work in People with the Guide button as the same article.

Moments that bring you here

New manager onboarding. First timesheet week. HR asking where policy center lives versus apply-leave. After a menu rename from /hrms to /people.

ⓘ
Canonical people data stays on Employee
Dashboards and charts here are explained as views. They do not replace Employee, leave, timesheet, or attendance records.

Overview

The HRMS module is your home for everything people-related: how you log time, request leave, how managers approve timesheets and leave, how activity is recorded in the unified audit trail, and how finance tracks billing through invoices.

Use the pages below for screen-by-screen detail. Start leave setup with the Leave One-Stop Guide. Also see Leave Management, Leave Configuration, Leave Policies Guide, Timesheet Approval, Work-Time Governance, and the Unified Audit Trail. For step-by-step workflows (create employee, submit timesheet, approve leave), see HRMS scenarios in the Scenario User Guide.

Summary & charts

Module index pages link to every HRMS screen. No summary analytics on the overview itself — open Employee Dashboard or Employees for chart galleries.

The HRMS module covers workforce records, time capture, attendance, and client invoicing. Most daily work happens on Dashboard, Timesheet, or Employees — not on this index page itself.

Key concepts

HRMS module

Human resource management within Tracopus Luxury UI — employees, time, attendance, billing, and personal settings.

Luxury UI shell

Emerald-themed layout with sticky header, collapsible summary strips, and sidebar navigation shared across all HR screens.

Register pattern

List screens (Employees, Invoices) use SHOW / SORT / Filter header controls plus optional chart galleries.

Team scope

Managers filter charts and registers by organizational unit; individual contributors typically see only their own data.

Billable linkage

Timesheet hours can tie to project deliverables, feeding utilization dashboards and invoice line items.

Common mistakes

⚠️
Skipping the Dashboard
New users jump straight to Timesheet without checking utilization charts — they miss policy hints and leave balance context on the My dashboard tab.
⚠️
Assuming HRMS equals payroll
Attendance and timesheet data may export to payroll, but Tracopus HRMS is operational time tracking — not a full payroll engine.

FAQ

Which HR screen do I use every day?

Most contributors live on Dashboard (personal KPIs) and Timesheet (weekly hour entry). Managers add Employees and Attendance.

Can I access HRMS on mobile?

Yes — the mobile companion covers timesheet entry and personal insights. See the Mobile module guides for parity notes.

Where do invoices come from?

Billable timesheet hours and project configuration roll up into the Invoices register. Finance users start from Invoices, not Timesheet.

Do permissions differ per screen?

Yes. Your org admin assigns role-based access; the Permissions section on each page guide lists typical roles.

Workflows

1. New employee
Start at Employee Dashboard → log time on Timesheet → view profile.
2. Manager
Team dashboard → Employees directory → Attendance matrix.
3. Finance
Invoices list → open Invoice Details for line items and PDF.
