The job of this console
Work through assigned tasks — documents, acknowledgements, forms — until the case is clear. Escalate to HR when a task is blocked on them.
Tasks on your live onboarding case — documents, acknowledgements, and HR checkpoints — not a second HR file.
Scroll to Flowcharts. Scenario: Complete onboarding tasks as a new hire.
Joiner checklist
My onboarding lists tasks on the case HR opened for you. Completing a row updates that case; it does not create a new Employee.

New joiners with onboardingSelfServiceEnabled. HR uses People → Onboarding. Managers may see status, not this checklist as authors.
Open daily until done, complete what you can, stop when the remaining items are HR’s.
First week. A missing document reminder. Policy acknowledgement. After HR adds a task.
Open your case tasks, finish one, wait for HR to see status.

My onboarding is self-service on the employee’s onboarding case. HR still owns templates and the operator register under People → Onboarding. Employee remains the person record.
