Learning Courses

Course catalog HR publishes — not the policy handbook and not a second document vault.

Scroll to Flowcharts. Scenario: Publish a learning course.

Catalog

Courses you publish for people to take

Learning courses is the catalog. It does not mark people complete and it is not the company handbook.

The job of this console

Author and publish catalog items so assignments and My learning have something to point at.

Seat at the table

HR Admin and Admin. Learners never edit the catalog.

The working rhythm

Create, publish, then assign. Update a course when content changes and reassign if required.

Moments that bring you here

New compliance module. Product training. Retiring a stale course.

ⓘ
Catalog, not completions
Completions hang on Employee via assignments. Policies hub is a different acknowledgement.

Overview

Courses are the learning catalog. Assignments send them to people. Completions feed compliance. Employee is still the learner.

How to use

1. Catalog first
Do not assign a draft you have not published if the product blocks it.
2. Not policy ack
Handbook signatures stay on Policies.
3. Reports
Learning reports read completions, not this authoring list alone.
