Learning Assignments

Who must take which course — assignments onto Employee, not a mailing list beside the LMS.

Scroll to Flowcharts. Scenario: Assign a course to a population.

Who must take it

Assignments onto real employees

Learning assignments send catalog courses to Employee rows. That is what My learning and compliance read.

The job of this console

Pick a published course, select people, set a due date, save. Chase overdue on compliance, not in a spreadsheet.

Seat at the table

HR Admin and Admin. Managers may see team compliance; they do not always author assignments.

The working rhythm

Assign, confirm a test user sees My learning, watch compliance.

Moments that bring you here

Annual compliance blast. New joiner path. A role change that needs extra training.

ⓘ
Employee is the learner
Do not assign to a project or a candidate id. Completions hang on these assignment rows.

Overview

Assignments bind courses to Employee. Groups should resolve to people, not to a shadow roster.

How to use

1. Employees only
Candidates and vendors are not learners here.
2. Due dates matter
Compliance is overdue against this.
3. Revoke carefully
Removing an assignment may hide history — follow product rules.
