Universal inbox

One queue for leave, time, attendance, and more

My Approvals is the universal inbox — filter by status, domain, and priority, then approve or reject without leaving the page. Items are the same requests the domain screens created.

The job of this console

Clear the queue: filter, open enough context, approve or reject. Delegation may put someone else’s items here. Do not approve by editing the source timesheet unless you are correcting, not deciding.

Seat at the table

Anyone who receives work from published approval policies. Administrators still author policies under Admin.

The working rhythm

Open My approvals, filter domain, act in bulk or one-by-one, confirm the domain screen shows the new status. Use comments when rejecting.

Moments that bring you here

Monday manager pass. Payroll week. After a delegate starts. A SLA that is about to breach. When someone asks ‘where did my leave go’ — it is here or on Leave management.

ⓘ
Inbox, not a new request type
Leave, timesheet, attendance, and access requests stay on their source tables. Policies and ApprovalAuthority still decide who sees a row.

Interactive data flow

Universal inbox merges leave, timesheet, and attendance pending rows — delegation scopes control who can act.

Overview

My Approvals aggregates decisions you (or you as delegate) can take across HRMS and delivery domains. Source records stay in their modules; this page is the action inbox, not a second data store. When Work-Time Governance approval.chain is effective and a policy is published, chain step metadata can appear on items. Until then, timesheet rows keep the existing manager path when approvalChainFallbackLegacy is true. See Work-Time Governance.

How to use

1. Start on Pending
Status chips default to Pending. Use All only when auditing history.
2. Narrow the queue
Domain and Priority dropdowns, plus search on requester/subject/module.
3. Act from the drawer
Open a row, review context, approve or reject, then refresh if needed.
4. Save a view
Use saved views for recurring filters (e.g. Leave + High).
